Schoolteacher arrested over porn

A teacher has left a Wiltshire private school after a police investigation into internet porn.

The ex-Marlborough College housemaster was arrested on suspicion of having indecent images on his computer.

Staff at the £7,300-a-term school contacted Wiltshire Police in April after becoming suspicious of material they considered "inappropriate".

The 44-year-old housemaster was arrested and released on police bail until June.

A number of items were seized and are to undergo forensic analysis.

In a statement, the college said there was no suggestion of improper behaviour with any pupil.
