Council backs African twinning
A small Wiltshire town could be the first place in Britain to be twinned with a community in the North African state of Morocco.

Moroccan citizens living in Trowbridge have submitted an application to twin the county town with Oujda.

A spokesman for Trowbridge Town Council said: "Trowbridge has the largest Moroccan community outside London.

"We are supporting the idea and they are now taking the plan to wider elements within the town."
