A racegoer has won £124,000 from a £2 bet after successfully backing a six-horse accumulator.
Ian Humphries, from Salisbury, Wilts, won the cash at the Hennessey Gold Cup Festival in Newbury on Friday.
He admitted that the bet had "no intelligence or science behind it". The last horse in the bet sequence was 28/1 outsider Ballyhoo.
"I had no idea how much I had won, it was great to get six in a row. They offered cash, but I chose a cheque."
He added: "I have no idea what I'm going to spend the cash on, but obviously the family are going to have a very good Christmas."
