Stolen speed camera found torched
A £40,000 speed camera which was cut down with a power tool late on Thursday night or early on Friday morning has been recovered.

The Gatso camera was taken from Queens Drive in Swindon and recovered from the Ridgeway near Highworth.

A spokeswoman for the safety camera team said the camera casing had been damaged by fire but it was hoped the film could still be recovered.

"We hope we can find evidence that will help identify the culprits," she said.
