The MP tore tendons in his left leg in the fall

Wiltshire MP James Gray has been airlifted off a Cornish clifftop after injuring his leg in a fall.
The Conservative MP was on holiday with his family when he slipped on a footpath at Tregardock near Tintagel, rupturing tendons in his leg.
Immobilised, Mr Gray had to rely on the help of the Cornwall Air Ambulance. It landed on the beach below and he was stretchered down the cliff.
Speaking from hospital in Truro, Mr Gray paid tribute to his rescuers.
He said: "I cannot imagine how I would have got off that remote clifftop, had it not been for the dedication and expertise of the paramedics and pilot.
"I pay tribute to both the air ambulance and to those who treated me in hospital - without them I would be facing a much more serious consequence than a few weeks of discomfort."
