Three hurt in hit-and-run crash

A 37-year-old driver suffered a fractured collarbone in a hit-and-run collision in Wiltshire.

His car crashed into a white van which pulled in front of him into a lay-by on the A303 at Winterbourne Stoke on Monday evening.

Police said the van driver failed to stop at the scene of the accident and drove off towards London.

Two passengers in the car suffered minor injuries. Police said the van suffered substantial nearside damage.

Officers are keen to trace anyone who saw the van before or after the accident.
