Car was airborne after collision
Two men were airlifted to hospital after being badly hurt when their car flew into the air in an accident.

Police believe a Renault Clio crossed a junction into the path of a Fiesta travelling on the A360 north of Salisbury at 1440 BST on 27 August.

The impact sent the Clio flying into the air before landing in a field.

A 73-year-old women from Winterbourne Stoke is being treated for injuries to her chest, head and leg the other two passengers escaped with bruising.

A police spokesman said at the time of the accident the weather was fine and dry.

The road was closed for two hours whilst the accident was investigated and the vehicles recovered,
