A 29-year-old Lancashire man has been arrested by Wiltshire police on suspicion of computer hacking.
The move follows a raid at an address in Chorley on Thursday morning by officers from the force's Hi-tech Crime Unit.
The squad were investigating a hacking attack on the Swindon-based Forces Reunited website, which brings together ex-armed forces personnel.
Computers were also seized and are due to be examined. The man was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
