Parachute death man identified
A Hampshire man who died in a parachuting incident in Wiltshire has been identified.

Esmond Liggitt, 44, from Newham near Hook in Hampshire, died at the Netheravon jump centre near Devizes on Sunday.

Initial inquires showed that neither of his parachutes were deployed during a 13,000 jump.

An inquest into his death starts in Salisbury on Tuesday.

Mr Liggitt is believed to have been a seasoned parachutist and regular visitor to Netheravon, home of the Red Devils.

Police said on Monday that the circumstances of the death are not suspicious.
