City demo court cases adjourned

Three people charged with public disorder offences after being arrested during two rival demonstrations in Leeds have had their cases adjourned.

James Williams, 22, and Leonel De Oliveira, 25, are due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on 9 November.

David Haley, 30, is due to appear on 2 December. All three were bailed after appearing before magistrates on Monday.

Kevin McGrath, 45, was also arrested during the demonstrations and was fined £80 for being drunk and disorderly.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Monday.
