Arrests during anti-BNP protest

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred as protestors staged an anti-BNP rally in West Yorkshire.

About 500 people gathered for the demonstration in Leeds city centre which was organised by Unite Against Fascism.

A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the two women arrested were not involved in the march.

They were being questioned by police, the spokeswoman added.
