An appeal on the BBC's Crimewatch programme about the murder of a father-of-one from Leeds has prompted more than 50 calls, according to police.
The sister of Adam Chadwick, 20, spoke for the first time on the programme in a fresh bid to find his killers.
He was shot when three masked men and a woman burst into his sister Gemma's home in Harehills last June.
Police said they were following up a number of interesting calls about the female suspect's identity.
On the night of the shooting a woman had knocked at Miss Chadwick's house, and others in the area, asking for "Michelle". Detectives believe this is linked to the murder investigation.
£5,000 reward
The woman was described as white, 27 to 28 years old, 5ft 4in to 5ft 5in tall, with dark brown hair, olive skin and dark eyes. She was wearing a baggy black fleece or cardigan over a round-neck black top.
The three men were all described as black and wore masks and green camouflage clothing.
The case, and the first interview with Miss Chadwick, featured on BBC1's Crimewatch programme on Thursday.
Police revealed details about the converted 9mm pistol used by Mr Chadwick's killers.
Det Supt Steve Payne said the public response had been encouraging and reiterated his appeal for information about the pistol, which remains outstanding.
He said: "If someone wants to contact me or the enquiry team with information about the firearm used to kill Adam I personally guarantee their identity will remain strictly anonymous."
The Crimestoppers charity is offering a £5,000 reward to encourage anyone with information about the case to come forward.
