Adam Chadwick left a three-year-old daughter, Ruby
A woman who witnessed her brother being shot in the head has spoken about his murder for the first time in a television appeal to find his killers.
Adam Chadwick, 20, was shot when three masked men and a woman burst into his sister Gemma's home in Harehills, Leeds, in June last year.
Detectives believe the shooting was a case of mistaken identity.
The case, and the first interview with Miss Chadwick, featured on BBC1's Crimewatch programme on Thursday.
Police revealed details about the converted 9mm pistol used by Mr Chadwick's killers.
£5,000 reward
Det Supt Steve Payne, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "Ten months have now passed since Adam's tragic death and the investigation into his murder remains very much alive.
Police issued an e-fit of a woman who was in the area asking for 'Michelle'
"I am convinced the answer to who killed Adam lies within the communities of Leeds and I am hopeful that our appeal on Crimewatch will provide us with the information that helps to unlock this investigation.
"The murder of this young man left a family devastated and a community shocked."
On the night of the shooting a woman had knocked at Miss Chadwick's house, and others in the area, asking for "Michelle". Detectives believe this is linked to the murder investigation.
The woman was described as white, 27 to 28 years old, 5ft 4in to 5ft 5in tall, with dark brown hair, olive skin and dark eyes. She was wearing a baggy black fleece or cardigan over a round-neck black top.
The three men were all described as black and wore masks and green camouflage clothing.
The Crimestoppers charity is offering a £5,000 reward to encourage anyone with information about the case to come forward.
