Masked robbers flee with cash bag

A hammer-wielding masked gang ambushed a security guard delivering cash to a bank in Leeds and fled with a bag of money, police said.

The guard was on Church Street, in Hunslet, on Wednesday afternoon when he was approached by three men.

One of the gang threatened the guard with a hammer as another grabbed the cash bag before all three ran off.

The men were aged in their late teens to 20 years old and two wore black tops and tracksuit bottoms.
