Ex-club director bailed by police

A leading West Yorkshire property developer who was arrested as part of a police investigation into fraud and money laundering has been bailed.

Simon Morris, a 30-year-old former director of Leeds United, was arrested at his home in Scarcroft, to the north of Leeds, early on Tuesday.

Detectives from West Yorkshire Police's economic crime unit interviewed Mr Morris then bailed him and four others.

Two people from the West Midlands were also released on bail.
