More than 5,000 people have taken part in a half marathon in Leeds to raise money for charity.
The Gaz de France half marathon, which kicked off at Millennium Square, took in a 13.1 mile course through the city centre.
There was also a 1.5 mile family fun run. Everyone taking part in the events was asked to raise money for this year's official charity, Andrea's Gift.
The Yorkshire-based charity funds research into brain tumours.
Some roads in the city centre were closed to traffic during the race.
Leeds is also celebrating the 150th anniversary of its town hall, and a series of events were taking place there on Sunday.
Councillor John Procter, Leeds' executive member for leisure, said before the race: "It will be great to see the thousands of people taking part in the half-marathon and their supporters urging everybody on, while the town hall events should be a fantastic celebration of such a magnificent building."
