Men still held over double attack

Three men arrested after a 33-year-old man was stabbed to death and another man was seriously injured are still being held by detectives.

The attack on the two men - believed to be brothers - happened in Elland near Halifax, West Yorkshire, on Friday.

The first victim died before he arrived at hospital. The second man, aged 35, is being treated for knife wounds.

The three men arrested are aged 28, 39 and 50 are believed to have known the two victims.

Bunches of flowers have been laid on the pavement, close to the scene of the attack, with tributes written to the dead man.

Police have yet to reveal the identity of the dead man.
