Boy, 3, serious after hit-and-run

A three-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident on a Leeds estate.

The unnamed child was injured on Ramshead Gardens in the Seacroft area of east Leeds on Sunday afternoon.

West Yorkshire Police said a silver Citroen vehicle was later found burned out on Gledhow Wood Close, Gledhow.

The boy, from Garforth, is being treated at Leeds General Infirmary. A 20-year-old man is being questioned about the crash.
