Man, 35, charged with city murder

A man has been charged with murdering a 33-year-old man in Leeds.

The 35-year-old man is accused of the murder of Damian Oldfield who lived in the city. He has been remanded into police custody.

West Yorkshire Police arrested the man on Thursday after discovering Mr Oldfield's body at a property on Bexley Place in Harehills.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out but the cause of death has yet to be released.
