Ryan Hawkins died of multiple stab wounds
A father has denied murdering his four-year-old son and the attempted murder of his teenage daughter.

Christopher Hawkins, 47, appeared at Bradford Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty to killing his son Ryan Hawkins on 23 September.

Ryan was found with nine stab wounds at his home in Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield. Sister Donna, 14, suffered 23 stab wounds but survived.

Mr Hawkins was remanded in custody to face trial on 25 February.
