Man repeatedly stabbed in street
Detectives are investigating an attack on a man who was repeatedly stabbed in the chest and stomach.

The 43-year-old was walking on Lumb Lane in Bradford when he was attacked by a man with a knife at about 1230 BST on Tuesday.

Police said the victim was stabbed in the chest, stomach, arms and hand. He is recovering in Bradford Royal Infirmary.

The attacker was in his 20s, 5ft 4in tall and was wearing a bright T-shirt.

Det Insp Noel Devine said: "This was a very serious assault and the victim could have received potentially fatal injuries.

"We are anxious to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the attack.

"Lumb Lane would have been busy with traffic at the time of the attack."
