Test explosion
Servicemen witnessed the test blasts
A parade to commemorate British servicemen involved in experimental nuclear testing in the 1950s has taken place in Leeds.

Members of the British Nuclear Test Veterans' Association gathered at Leeds Parish Church for a service followed by a parade through the city on Sunday.

Thousands of servicemen were exposed to radiation from the tests carried out in the Pacific between 1952-1967.

The service at Leeds Parish Church was followed by a march past on Kirkgate.
