Man held after motorway accident

A man has been arrested after a car was driven the wrong way along a motorway in West Yorkshire.

Police said the car was involved in a collision with another vehicle on the M621, close to junction 27 of the M62 motorway at Gildersome.

The eastbound carriageway was closed while officers cleared away debris from the accident which happened around mid-morning on Saturday.

Police are questioning the driver. No-one was hurt in the crash.
