A rally to highlight the effect of climate change on the world's poorest communities has been held in Leeds.
The event, organised by Christian Aid, was held on Saturday as part of the charity's Cut the Carbon campaign march across the UK.
The rally outside the city library featured former Snow Patrol guitarist Iain Archer and Leeds comedian Tony Vino, among others.
The 11-week, 1,000 mile march is due to end in London on 2 October.
One of the marchers, Tim Jones, said he had taken three months' unpaid leave to walk across the UK.
He said: "Climate change is affecting the poorest people in the world the most, yet it is the richest people and countries that have caused it.
"I'm looking forward to the Yorkshire leg of the march, particularly to meeting up with my family again in Leeds and Bradford."
