Four charged over bride's murder

Sabia Rani was subjected to sustained abuse
Police have charged four people in connection with the murder of a woman who was beaten to death by her new husband after an arranged marriage.

Sabia Rani, 19, was killed by Shazad Khan after coming to Leeds from Pakistan. He has been jailed.

On Thursday it was confirmed that four members of Khan's family had been charged with familial homicide.

Phullan Bibi, 51, Majid and Nazia Hussain, both 28, and Uzma Noreen Khan, 22, will appear in court on Monday.

The Crown Prosecution Service said they were accused of causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult.
