Boy arrested after school attack
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was attacked outside a Leeds school.

Police were called to Roundhay School on Wednesday morning after reports of an incident involving a 16-year-old.

The victim was found by the school gates with minor injuries to his face and back, police said. He was taken to hospital but later discharged.

A 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of wounding and released on police bail pending further inquiries.

A Leeds City Council spokesman said on behalf of the school: "An isolated and random incident took place between two pupils resulting in one requiring medical attention.

"He has now returned home and staff are assisting the police with their enquiries."
