Men arrested after death of child

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a two-year-old girl in Leeds.

Police were called to an address in the Gipton area of the city following the child's death on Sunday night, a West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said.

The three local men were being held in custody and were due to be questioned by officers from the force's Homicide and Major Inquiry Team on Monday.

A post-mortem examination was due to be held later, the spokeswoman added.
