Detectives investigate sex attack

Detectives are investigating a serious sexual assault on a 37-year-old woman in West Yorkshire.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the attack is thought to have taken place between 1800 GMT and 2000 GMT on Tuesday.

Officers were at the scene in Meadow Road, Garforth, early on Wednesday and remained there throughout the day.

An examination of the scene by forensic experts has taken place and detectives have been speaking to local residents.
