Man shot during city centre fight
A 21-year-old man has been shot during a night out in Leeds city centre, police have said.

Detectives were called when the man went to hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

It is believed he was shot after an argument near the Atrium nightclub in the Grand Arcade, New Briggate, in the early hours of Tuesday.

An area around the Grand Arcade remained cordoned off while police examined the scene.

The man remained in hospital on Tuesday but his injuries were not life-threatening, a police spokesman said.
