Military funeral for WWII soldier
Unknown grave at Arnhem
Many British men were killed in the Battle of Arnhem
A Leeds soldier who was killed in action 60 years ago was remembered in a re-dedication service in The Netherlands on Thursday.

Lance Sgt Edward Hartley, who fought with The Border Regiment, was killed in action in Arnhem in 1944.

The 31-year-old was buried as an unknown soldier but identified with dental records last year.

He will receive a full military funeral, watched by his daughter and her family, at Oosterbeek Cemetery.

The soldier, who served four years in the first battalion of the Cumbria and North Lancashire Border Regiment, was one of thousands buried in unmarked graves.

The Band of the Royal Netherlands Air Force will provide the music at the ceremony.
