Police are hunting a man who subjected a 13-year-old boy to a serious sexual assault at a park in Leeds.
The boy was forced further into the park as his friend ran for help
The teenager was in Cross Flatts park in Beeston with an 11-year-old boy when he was grabbed by the man and assaulted while his friend ran for help.
The boy's attacker is said to be Asian, 5ft 6ins tall, in his late 20s with a slim muscular build and short hair.
Forensic tests have been carried out at the scene and police are conducting house to house inquiries in the area.
Officers also want to trace two women seen near Sefton Avenue and Wickham Street at about 0030 on Sunday.
Police said the parents of the two boys believed each was staying overnight at the other's house.
Det Supt Paul Taylor described the assault on the young boy as "serious and sustained".
He told BBC Look North: "He is getting over his physical injuries but I fear it may be some time before he can get over his mental injuries.
"It has had a devastating affect on his family - I have spoken at some length with his family, who are clearly very distressed about what has happened."
