Allegations of election fraud in Bradford are being investigated by police as voters head to the polling stations for the local elections.
The city council has reported "a small number" of allegations which are being looked into, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said.
Police will also have a visible presence at polling stations, he added.
Last week the force said it was working with returning officers to ensure the elections were properly conducted.
"Unlawful or fraudulent voting allegations will be thoroughly investigated," it said.
