Detectives find weapons in river
Police investigating the brutal killing of a taxi driver have discovered a knife and hammer dumped in a river.

Mahmood Ahmed, 36, of Highfield, Keighley, was stabbed and battered to death just two weeks after the birth of his child.

His body was discovered by the side of the road in Slack Lane on Tuesday.

The weapons were found by police in the River Worth next to South Street, Keighley, and have been sent for forensic tests.

Police released CCTV footage on Thursday of a man they are eager to trace. He was captured outside the Merry Melon fruit and veg shop, talking on a mobile phone.

He then got into a silver car, thought to be Mr Ahmed's Vauxhall Vectra taxi.
