Search on for missing school boy

A search is under way in West Yorkshire for an eight-year-old boy who has gone missing from his home.

Connor Batley, from the Lupset area of Wakefield, was last seen when he left school on Wednesday afternoon.

The youngster is described as 4ft, of stocky build, with short mousey hair and blonde fringe. He was last seen wearing his school uniform.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Connor to contact them on 01924 293256.
