Rock music fans are being asked to help find a teenager who has been missing for nearly a month.

Jenny Nicholl, 19, left her home in Richmond, North Yorkshire on 30 June and has not been seen since.

She is known to love rock music and played guitar in Richmond band No Fouling some years ago.

Now police officers are to visit local music venues to ask fans if they have any information about where Miss Nicholl might be.

Important information

Officers will also be talking to fans at Richmond Live, a two -day festival next week that revolves around local musicians.

Many of Miss Nicholl's friends and acquaintances have been found and interviewed by police, but Det Insp Pete Martin believes there may be more who have important information.

"It makes sense for us to ask the help of young men and women with the same passion as Jenny," he said.

On the evening Ms Nicholl went missing she was wearing a sleeveless crop-top, blue jeans and black trainers and had on a well-worn khaki parka.
