Michael Hanley was shot as he tried to flee, police say
A man arrested in connection with the murder of a man who was shot dead outside a nightclub in Dewsbury has been released without charge.

Michael Hanley, 23, of Harehills, Leeds, was shot in the stomach outside Sheridan's Bar in Ravensthorpe, on 27 December 2005.

His friend, also 23 and from Leeds, escaped with a minor head wound.

The 18-year-old was released on Wednesday. Three men from Huddersfield, aged 18, 21, and 23 are on police bail.
