Teacher suspended in police probe

A Leeds teacher has been suspended after allegations of inappropriate behaviour with two pupils.

West Yorkshire Police said they were investigating claims involving two girls and officers were liaising with their parents and the local authority.

An Education Leeds spokesman said: "A member of staff has been suspended without prejudice pending the results of this police investigation."

Neither the school nor the teacher can be named for legal reasons.
