Town centre chase driver jailed
A driver who led police on a high speed chase around Halifax town centre has been jailed for six months.

Yasser Yasin, 22, went through eight red lights at speeds of up to 80mph during a five mile chase across the town in January.

Bradford Crown Court was told police caught up with him when he crashed into some railings and two parked cars.

Yasin, of Hyde Park road, King Cross in Halifax, admitted dangerous driving. He told police he panicked.
