Police website pinpoints hotspots
Residents who want to keep an eye on how local crimes are being tackled can now view trends on a website launched by West Yorkshire Police Authority.

By putting in their postcode users can see at a glance where offences have been committed in the last month and view any trends over 24 months.

One feature of the website is the use of dots on maps showing either crimes or anti-social behaviour incidents.

www.beatcrime.info records burglaries, car crime and youth nuisance.
