Police arrest man over stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in the Little London area of Leeds.

A 24-year-old man has been described as "stable" in Leeds General Infirmary after he was stabbed in Lovell Park Towers at around 1130 BST on Friday.

Detectives have carried out house-to-house enquiries in the area as well as forensic examinations of the block of flats where the incident took place.

The 28-year-old is in custody at Weetwood Police Station.
