A teenager was killed when his car went out of control and hit a telegraph pole, police say.
The accident happened on a tight bend of the A638 Doncaster Road in Ackworth, near Pontefract, West Yorkshire at about 0230 BST on Sunday.
Police said the 18-year-old man, from Doncaster, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
The road was closed for about six hours while officers investigated the accident.
