Motorcyclist dies in head-on crash
A motorcyclist has been killed after colliding with a car in the Altofts area of Wakefield.
The accident happened when the rider was heading towards Normanton.
The rider fell off his motorbike which was then hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven in the opposite direction.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw the accident.
Man injured in unprovoked attack
A 42-year-old man is a serious condition in hospital after an unprovoked attack in Leeds.
Christopher Woodhead was assaulted by two men who kicked and punched him in Armley Ridge Road in Armley.
He is being treated in Leeds General Infirmary.
Police think the two men, who are both described as being about 19 and white, were also responsible for an earlier attack on a man in the same area.
Body found in city car park
A man's body has been found in a car park in Leeds.
Police were called to the NCP car park on Woodhouse Lane
Forensic officers attended the scene but the man's death is not believed to be suspicious.
A police spokesman said inquiries were ongoing.
Five arrested in drug raids
West Yorkshire Police arrested five men after a drugs raid in Huddersfield, following an anonymous tip off.
The Kirklees District Drugs team stopped a car in the Marsh area of the town on Tuesday and made the arrests.
Officers found a substantial quantity of what is thought to be heroin and crack cocaine along with an amount of cash.
Four men from Huddersfield and one from London have been arrested on suspicion of supplying a class A drug.
