Mobile cameras tackle road deaths
Police with mobile speed cameras are to patrol the M62 in West Yorkshire for the first time in a bid to cut road deaths.

The move comes after a stretch of motorway near Pontefract was identified as an accident black spot.

The cameras will be deployed between junctions 33 and 34 from November.

Government guidelines stipulate that the cameras can be used where two or more deaths or serious injury crashes have occurred in the last three years.
