Thieves snatch cigarette machine
Police are hunting thieves who walked out of a pub carrying a cigarette machine in broad daylight.

Detectives believe at least two men were involved in the operation to drag the dispenser out of the Raggalds pub in Queensbury, Bradford.

The pair escaped through a fire exit at the rear of the building and loaded the "wood effect" machine into the boot of a white car.

The landlady, who was alerted to the missing cigarettes, challenged the men but they drove off in the direction of Halifax.

The Raggalds' beer garden overlooks the pub car park and West Yorkshire Police want to hear from anyone drinking there at about 1900 BST on 17 April.

A spokeswoman for the force said they had so far been unable to trace the car and were hopeful someone could identify it.

She added: "People may have noticed the vehicle drive past with wires dangling out of the rear."
