Gang steal thousands from Birmingham casino

An armed gang has stolen more than £30,000 from a Birmingham casino.

A man, armed with a hammer, forced staff at the Rainbow Casino in Edgbaston to hand over the money, West Midlands Police said

No one was injured in the robbery, which happened on Tuesday afternoon the spokesman added.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw a blue BMW 5 series with three men inside, which may have been parked in the Clarendon Road area at the time.
