A 30-year-old man from Birmingham has been charged with terrorism offences. Ahmed Faraz, from Sparkhill, Birmingham, was arrested by West Midlands Police in the city on 26 January under the Terrorism Act. He has been charged with several counts of possessing material likely to be of use to a terrorist and several counts of distributing terrorist publications. He is due to appear at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
