Charges over Walsall Help The Heroes charity collection

Two men have been charged in connection with fraudulently collecting for the Help For Heroes charity.

Police said the charges followed the arrest of a 22-year-old man in November in Walsall town centre.

They said a 24-year-old man had been charged with fraud and false representation against a charity.

A 22-year-old man is charged with obtaining charitable donations under false or fraudulent pretences and also obstructing police.

The two men, both from Walsall, were due to appear before magistrates in the town on Wednesday.
