Figure stolen from baby's grave

Thieves have stolen a statue from a baby boy's grave in the West Midlands.

Police said the 12in-high figure of Winnie the Pooh was taken from the grave at Stourbridge Crematorium some time between 6 and 12 November.

Officers said the figure, which has a green base, was of "great sentimental value" and had caused the child's family "a great deal of distress".

Pc Craig Robinson, of West Midlands Police, described the thieves as "callous and despicable".
