Detectives are appealing again for witnesses to a murder in the West Midlands a year ago to come forward.

Scott Buchanan, 23, was shot in the chest while at home in Callaghan Drive, Tividale, on the evening of 12 November 2008.

Residents are being asked if they saw anyone in the street acting suspiciously or any unusual vehicles parked in the area.

A police spokesman said the shooting happened just after 2200 GMT.

"People have come forward and we are grateful to them, but we want anybody who might have been in the area and seen anything suspicious to get in touch with us," the spokesman said.
