Man is killed in garden shed fire

A man has been found dead after a fire broke out in a garden shed where he had been thought to be sleeping.

Firefighters found the man's body in the shed of a garden in Mostyn Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, at about 2330 GMT on Saturday.

Police were called and said it appeared the man, who has not been identified, had been using the shed to sleep in.

Officers were investigating the cause of the blaze but said they did not believe it was suspicious.
